# Wundrful World of Christmas Sydney 2026: Step Inside the North Pole

Forget the shopping-centre queue and the quick knee-perch. This Christmas, Sydney kids can ride a magic lift to the North Pole, train as elves, swap baking secrets with Mrs Claus and meet the Big Man himself, all without leaving the CBD.

**Wundrful World of Christmas** is back home in Sydney for 2026, fresh from its international debut in London. And here's the bit you'll want to know straight away: **this is the final season at its current home opposite the QVB.** If it's been on your "one year we'll do it" list, this is the year.

✨ A Christmas You Step Into

#### Here in Queensland this year will continue to be about captivating lands and worlds exciting and captivating children, parents and grandparents alike! These are those experiences that will create everlasting memories.

Created right here in Sydney by immersive entertainment company Wundr, this is part theatre, part animation, part playground for the imagination. Live actors, animated characters, theatrical sets, lighting, sound and sensory effects combine into one journey your kids get to *be part of*.

Since it launched in 2024, tens of thousands of young believers have made the trip, and for plenty of Sydney families it's already become a Christmas tradition.

> "We love seeing families return each year alongside children discovering the magic for the very first time." — Andy Edwards and Justin James, Co-CEOs, Wundr

## The Journey: Sydney to the North Pole in 50 Minutes

This isn't a quick Santa snap in a shopping centre. Wundrful World of Christmas blends animation, mixed reality, theatrical sets, live actors, lighting, sound and sensory effects into a world families walk right into.

Here's a sneak peek at the journey:

🚀 **Lift-off from Sydney:** a simulated flight from the heart of the city to the North Pole
🌲**The Enchanted Forest:** a snowy wander into Santa's world
🔨 **The Elves' Workshop:** kids roll up their sleeves to help sort Christmas letters and find the right presents
🍪 **Mrs Claus's Cottage:** a cosy visit with the woman who really keeps Christmas running
🎅 **Meeting Santa:** the grand finale, with a special personal moment with the Big Man himself

Families can also capture the moment with a Santa portrait, choosing from a range of magical backgrounds.

## 💛 Why We're Excited

At SPARK POP, we're big believers in experiences that put kids *inside* the story. Wundrful World of Christmas gives children a job to do (sorting letters, helping elves, becoming part of the magic), and that's the kind of imaginative play that lingers long after the tinsel comes down.

It's micro-travel at its most festive, too. No airports, no passports. Just a trip into the city and a lift ride to somewhere wonderfully outside the everyday.

## 🎟️ Don't Leave It Too Late

Tickets are on sale now, and the 2026 season has had the fastest start to ticket sales of any Sydney season so far. With limited capacity per session and popular dates expected to sell out, it's worth locking in your date early.

**Good to know:** Under 3s free, no ticket required.
