This achievement is a key step in preparing SPARK POP to attract both domestic and international travellers to experience the very best of family-friendly Australia. The completion of this program was made possible through the support of the Queensland Government’s Tourism Business Capability Subsidy, which enabled Melissa to access valuable training to strengthen SPARK POP’s international appeal. “The 'Tourism Trade Ready' program has been instrumental in enhancing our strategic outlook and approach to the international market. I’m excited to apply the knowledge and skills gained to forge meaningful partnerships with Australian operators and industry to create unforgettable experiences for families visiting Australia,” said Melissa Soutar. The training provided Melissa with in-depth knowledge of Australia’s tourism marketplace, including export trade strategies to appeal to international visitors. Equipped with insights into global customer bases, SPARK POP is now better positioned to work effectively with trade partners and expand its reach. Melissa looks forward to using this expertise to boost SPARK POP’s value proposition, drive partnerships and sales, and contribute to the growth of Australia's tourism export market by attracting international families to explore and enjoy the country.
